Her mother, Olfat Tabeel, says Sama is traumatized by constant shelling and now wishes for death.
Despite being physically healthy, doctors attribute Sama’s condition to psychological trauma, worsened by the lack of medical resources in Gaza.
Sama: “Our home is gone… I lost my hair, and I am afraid to lose one of my siblings.”
A Save the Children report found 55% of Gaza’s children have suicidal thoughts, showing severe mental health impacts.
