Realme has confirmed several major features of its upcoming Neo 8, positioning the smartphone as a strong contender in the performance-focused segment.
One of the biggest highlights is its massive 8,000mAh battery, which is expected to support around 80W fast charging, promising long usage with quick top-ups. The device will also offer full-level IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance, making it one of the most durable phones in its class.
For security and convenience, the Realme Neo 8 will feature ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking, capable of working even with wet hands. Durability is further enhanced with Crystal Armor Glass, designed to improve scratch and wear resistance.
Gamers are likely to benefit from the X-axis linear motor and super-linear stereo speakers, aimed at delivering more immersive haptics and audio. On the connectivity front, the phone supports dual-frequency GPS, tri-frequency BeiDou and GPS, and an enhanced antenna system for more accurate positioning.
Additional features include multi-angle NFC for flexible contactless payments and an IR blaster, allowing the phone to be used as a remote control for appliances.
