Tata Sierra to Make India Comeback on November 25 — ICE Version Expected First

Mumbai | Prime Headlines:
After months of anticipation, Tata Motors has officially confirmed the launch of the Tata Sierra — its iconic flagship SUV — in India on November 25, 2025. The comeback of the Sierra marks one of the most awaited automotive launches of the year, reviving a nameplate that once defined Indian SUVs.
ICE Version Likely to Arrive Before EV
While Tata originally planned to launch the electric version (Sierra EV) first, reports now suggest that the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) model will arrive ahead of it. The new Sierra is expected to offer both petrol and diesel engine options, setting it apart from Tata’s Safari and Harrier, which currently feature only diesel powertrains.
Tech-Loaded Cabin and Three-Screen Dashboard
Leaked images have revealed that the Sierra will debut Tata’s first-ever three-screen dashboard layout, similar to the setup seen on the Mahindra XEV 9e. The tech-rich cabin will also include:
A panoramic glass roof
Illuminated Tata logo on the steering wheel
Touch panel for AC controls
360-degree camera system
Powered and ventilated front seats
Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features

Tata Motors has also teased a new red exterior color, confirming a premium design language and a white interior theme with full-digital displays.
Iconic Legacy, Modern Makeover
The original Tata Sierra, launched in the 1990s, was one of India’s first SUVs with a distinct lifestyle appeal. The 2025 Sierra retains its classic design cues — especially the signature wraparound rear glass — but reimagines them with a futuristic twist.
Expected Pricing and Competition
The new Tata Sierra is likely to be priced between ₹12.5 lakh and ₹18 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it against rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Mahindra XUV700.
Industry analysts believe Tata is “bringing its A-game” to the segment, with the Sierra expected to blend premium design, high-end technology, and powerful performance — making it a standout in the fast-evolving SUV market.
