The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), under the Government of India, has announced the launch of the Non-Technical (Summer) Internship Programme 2026. Organized in collaboration with Digital India and the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), the programme aims to provide students with hands-on experience in non-technical domains related to digital governance and public administration.
According to the official announcement, selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000 along with certification upon successful completion of the internship. Applicants will also have the flexibility to choose any two skill areas out of the twelve internship domains offered under the programme.
The internship is expected to give students exposure to real-world government projects and help them develop practical skills in communication, management, policy support, and digital initiatives. Interested candidates can apply through the official registration link provided in the announcement poster.
The last date to apply for the internship programme is June 7, 2026.
