🇨🇳DEEPSEEK LAUNCHES IMAGE AI TO CHALLENGE OPENAI’S DALL-E 3

China’s DeepSeek just released Janus Pro, a new AI image model family it claims outperforms OpenAI’s DALL-E 3.

Now available on Hugging Face, Janus Pro ranges from 1B to 7B parameters and can both analyze and generate images—all under an MIT license, meaning no restrictions on commercial use.

While it’s limited to small 384×384 images, its efficiency raises big questions about U.S. dominance in AI and the future demand for AI chips.
