The NDA alliance, led by JDU and BJP, has secured a strong victory in the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. While multiple factors worked in their favour, two key initiatives played a major role in shaping the final outcome: the ₹10,000 Monetary Jeevika Yojana for women and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists.
₹10,000 Jeevika Yojana Became NDA’s Biggest Vote-Puller
One of the most impactful schemes was the direct ₹10,000 financial support given to women associated with the Jeevika self-help groups.
The scheme reached lakhs of women across rural Bihar, giving the NDA a huge boost among:

For many households, this support came at a crucial time, helping with daily expenses, education needs, and small business activities. Women across districts openly credited the scheme while voting. SIR (Special Intensive Revision) Strengthened NDA’s Ground Game
The Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls also played a major role.
