Political strategist Prashant Kishor made a major announcement about his political campaign, Jan Suraaj, revealing that the party plans to contest all 243 seats in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, with a commitment to field at least 40 women candidates.

Discussing the party’s vision, Kishor emphasized, “In 2025, Jan Suraaj will contest 243 seats, ensuring at least 40 women candidates are nominated. Moreover, we are committed to nurturing 70-80 women leaders from our party by 2030.

Recently, Kishor also indicated that Jan Suraaj is poised to participate in the upcoming Assembly by-elections in the Bela Ganj and Imam Ganj constituencies of Gaya district in Bihar.

He stated, “If the by-polls are held after October 2, Jan Suraaj will officially enter the fray. However, if they occur before October 2, we will select suitable candidates from within Jan Suraaj, who will then contest as independents.” Kishor shared these plans with the media in Gaya.
