Iran Protests Enter Day 14 as Reza Pahlavi Urges Shift in Strategy

Mass protests in Iran entered their 14th consecutive day, with large crowds gathering across major cities and openly calling for an end to the current regime.

Amid the unrest, Reza Pahlavi, the US-based son of Iran’s last monarch who was overthrown in the 1979 revolution, issued a strong message to protesters. In a public statement, Pahlavi urged demonstrators to move beyond symbolic marches and focus on taking control of strategic urban areas.

“Our goal is no longer just to take to the streets,” he said. “The goal is to prepare to seize and hold city centers.”

The comments signal a sharper tone from the exiled royal, as protests continue to challenge Iranian authorities amid heightened security measures, arrests, and internet restrictions. While the government has not responded directly to Pahlavi’s remarks, tensions remain high as demonstrations show no sign of slowing down.
