PAKISTAN OFFERS CONDITIONAL CEASEFIRE TO INDIA

Pakistan says it’s ready to pause – but only if India hits the brakes first.
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif announced that Islamabad “does not seek war” and is “prepared to exercise restraint,” following a dramatic escalation that saw Pakistan shoot down at least 3 Indian fighter jets.
The statement comes after India’s overnight airstrikes and as Pakistan appeals to the UN Security Council, warning it reserves the right to respond.
With tensions peaking, all eyes now turn to Pakistan’s prime minister and whether India’s next move is diplomacy – or more firepower.
