CBSE Class 10 Results 2025: Over 42 Lakh Students Await Outcome This Week
This year, more than 42 lakh students appeared for the CBSE board examinations conducted from February 15 to April 4, 2025. The Class 10 exams concluded on March 18, while the Class 12 exams wrapped up on April 4.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results for 2025 between May 11 and May 15, 2025. Over 42 lakh students appeared for the CBSE board examinations conducted from February 15 to April 4, 2025

Additionally, digital marksheets will be available through DigiLocker and the UMANG app. To access their scorecards, students will need essential credentials such as their roll number, admit card ID, school code, and date of birth
In an effort to reduce academic stress and unhealthy competition among students, CBSE has introduced a ‘Relative Grading’ system from the academic session 2024–25 onward. Unlike the previous fixed grading model, the new system assesses a student’s performance in comparison to their peer group, with grade cutoffs varying based on subject-wise performance trends and the number of passing candidates.
